Living on the road can be a very expensive proposition if you let it.? Normally I will spend close to $25 per day on food when I am out of town.? The Army pays $44 per day just for meals (as well as $2 per day for laundry, all of the hotel, and other expenses).? So even at $25 per day, I still end up ahead.
This week I decided to do something different.? I decided I would live like no one else, so later I can live like no one else.? I went to Wal-Mart and bought some lunch meat, cheese, bread, hot dogs, hot pockets, etc…Grand total, $17.38 for six days.? The conference is providing sodas and snacks, so that is my total expense.? Total profit on food alone this week is over $240.? When you start focusing all your resources toward one goal, it doesn’t matter what you eat.? Focused intensity brings results!

You’re awesome. Thanks.
P.S.
We’ll feed you when you get home.

Shouldn’t we all?!?!!! I guess it just always surprising how many people think eating on the go or eating on the cheap can’t mean eating healthily!

[…] This week I am again on the road, this time in Wisconsin. With a trip to Wal-Mart, I have spent $58 for two weeks of food. I have followed Trish’s advice and diversified my selections, adding many healthy selections including fruits and vegetables. […]
