The Magic Clothes Rack

Filed under: General — Joel @ 11:59 pm

This past week after being hired at Chili’s (my non-career second job as?I like to call it)?I went to Wal-Mart to purchase my new uniform. I was in need of some solid black shirts with no logos. I found the perfect polo for $7.00. The problem; they had medium and XXL, but no Large. After fretting until the weekend, Saturday night on my way back to Ada I stopped in the middle of the night at a Wal-Mart just outside of Oklahoma City. Unbelievably, once inside I discover they too have the polo, but only the same sizes as in Ada. How frustrating!

Needing to find something, I go back to the Wal-Mart in Ada. I go to the same rack and sure enough, the exact same shirts in the exact same sizes. Ready to give up, I notice a rack out of the corner of my eye. It is the clearance rack. Upon arriving there I discover three of the exact same polos, black with no logos. The only difference is all three are size Large and only cost $5.00 each. I don’t know if I just missed it before, or if they just knew I was coming; but I will thank God and take it!

By the way, it is night 218 in a motel. If you like others are wondering about the motel thing, read the comments here.

One other side note; if you are wondering why I volunteered to be mobilized and why I am excited about it, watch this video. Watch the whole thing, not just the first few seconds. If after watching you want to sign up, let me know. (I get $1,000 for referring you and you get $15,000 for joining).
