**Update**(at the bottom)
This time in the form of a water pump on my Ford. I don’t know what the damage (cost wise) will be yet, but I took it to Rex at AutoMart Radiator tonight and will be taking tomorrow off to work on my new business since I am unable to get to Ft. Leonard Wood for my job.
I am hoping I will be able to use my gas budget this month to pay for this so I can start building up my vehicle repair sinking fund. I am leaving for a two week adventure to California (Army funded) in a couple of days so my gas usage will be considerably lower this month. If I can get this fund built back up a little bit I may be able to kick Murphy to the curb for some time to come!
**Update**
Turns out it wasn’t the water pump after all. The Tauras doesn’t have a radiator cap, instead it has a pressurized overflow tank made of plastic. The bottom of this tank had a crack (apparently a common problem in Ford’s this age). The tank sits virtually above the water pump thus giving the appearance the water pump was leaking. After flushing the radiator and replacing the tank; total cost $135. That should easily fit in the gas budget this month ![]()

I am a fellow TMMOer, and just wanted to tell you what a true inspiration you are. I check over here every day to see if you have anything new. Thank you for being a shining example to what we all can do if we just do it. THANK YOU!!!

It is amazing when God blesses in a manner that is unexpected. Because you are trying to be faithful in the little things, (staying out of debt) He is blessing you with LESS of a car repair than you had originally thought.
He is an amazing God.
